Taking on New Adventures

Today I booked my trip to Italy for Al and Katharina’s wedding in Apulia, Italy. I’m so excited! It’s going to be an amazing time and great trip! !!

Got home and the light in the kitchen was messed up…. and it won’t turn on. Fortunately the landlord is having it fixed tomorrow. Plus I was able to use the microwave light to cook.  Phew

Spent the day relaxing after an awesome night out. This pic shows the 2nd line we ran across after the dinner on Saturday, since there was no photo moment for Sunday.

Another night of celebrations, this time for Jacque’s wedding, which is 2 weeks away.

Stacey decided to come to New Orleans to celebrate her 40th. So she, Beth and I hit up Broussard’s for a fabulous dinner. It has been a while since I’ve seen her. This was so fun.

Busy day at the office. So I hit the patio at Herbsaint for some wine before heading back in.

Ok, not really. But today, New Orleans took a page from the band’s most famous song, “No Rain”.

I was able to get out of the office for lunch today, and yet another storm rolled in. It seems to be the theme this summer.

Monday. Always a great day as I’m energized for the week.  But definitely need coffee. Lots of it.

I invested in a fitbit this week in hopes of pushing myself a tad bit more with my fitness. On world cup final day, I finally got to my “well over 10,000 steps” goal.  Yay!
