Taking on New Adventures

Noticed some workers on the roof of the superdome today, getting it ready for the first football game this Friday. I can’t believe it’s football time!

After a morning of showers, it cleared up enough to go on a bike ride by the river then a swim and cook out with the neighbors. Sunday funday, indeed.

Spent the afternoon helping a friend find a mattress. What a Saturday.

Hit the north shore today and got some swing time with Jacob.

Walking to and from work has been nice. A little sweaty, but really good health wise.

Hit the Columns hotel for happy hour and it ended up lasting much longer. The place is beautiful.

Some days, life is just routine. Today, I did laundry after working and getting in some exercise. Not boring, but just routine.

I’ve finally upgraded my walking shoes from flip flops. We’ll see if my feet feel better in Birks.

I spent a majority of the afternoon and evening researching our family tree. I learned a lot about my roots, which was way fun.

Tonight saw Jacque and Scott getting married, and it was a blast. Michelle and I enjoyed dancing and laughing as well as some great wine.
