Day 41: A streetcar named. … Kay?
My office has relocated to the Quarter for a few weeks. So instead of walking 2 miles each way, decided to streetcar it one way. Had the car to myself, for a stop. But now I know how to roll….slowly…. down the riverfront to my temp office.

Day 40: An Elf makes chocolate peanut butter balls
Today, I tried something new. I made peanut butter balls. They don’t look great, and are more blobs than balls, but they taste good. And the elf hat is for the Christmas party I attended. . I also wore a gold vest, green jeans and red Chucks. I looked hot! 🙂

Day 39: Blast from the Past
Tonight is my apartment building’s holiday party so I decided to go meet the neighbors. Imagine my surprise when I ran into these two. Chuck and Elton worked at the Royal Sonesta during Katrina and kept the CNN crew housed for months (and years) after. So great reminiscing and catching up.

Day 38: A dog named Lily
Hanging out at my aunt and uncle’s house tonight so decided I needed a pic with Lily. This dog loves, me. And I love her.

Day 36: Dinner Lab on the river
Tonight’s Dinner Lab is taking place at the Jackson Brewery. So naturally, I stepped onto the patio to overlook the river.

Day 35: Work Holiday Party
Again. I work with insano people. See attached photo. We had an impromptu holiday party and this is near the end. Another reason I’m loving this job.

Day 34: Work Shenanigans
I work in an office with strange people. And I love it! Paco was making hand puppets with the weird lighting while Any, Henry and I carried on 3 conversations at once. We were productivite. I promise!

Day 33: Home sweet home
After a crazy weekend, I finally made it home and am enjoying my Christmas tree. Getting ready to watch the Saints game, or as much as I can stand before going to bed. 🙂
