Although we didn’t get any “plane” trips this month, we managed to get a couple of road trips West to Tuscaloosa to see the Tide play. Those were our two trips outside of Atlanta during the month of September.
The first trip was Labor Day weekend to see arguably the hottest game on record in Bryant-Denny Stadium. We hit the game and then our normal after-game drink at Loosa Brews before heading to our hotel in Bessemer. It was a short weekend but full of fun.

We came back for the South Carolina game, which was the last weekend in September. The game was a night game and we had a blast. We hit up a few bars prior to the game, then made our way to Loosa Brews afterwards to let the traffic die down a bit.

We then made our way to Birmingham for our stay at our favorite spot, the Fairfield Inn downtown. This hotel is in an old building and is perfectly located close to restaurants and easy to get to after a long day of football.
Overall, while Tuscaloosa is a place I lived and have been to a ton of times, it’s always great to be back for some football and checking out the scene on gamedays!
