After years spent booking and producing at in news with a majority of that time at CNN, I transitioned into the world of communications and PR in 2013. I’ve worked with startup companies, a Fortune 500, small organizations and entrepreneurs. I also recently worked as a conference and meeting planner, planning all aspects of the conferences and meetings from start to finish.
In early 2020, I rejoined CNN as a freelance producer. My job was basically to go where they needed me! I also worked with the news gathering teams from home to help drive the network’s coverage on various news stories. My work was seen on air as well as on CNN.com
In late summer of 2020, I joined the NFL Network to freelance produce their coverage of the New Orleans Saints. This brings me back to my love of sports.
I took on a role with Universal Music Group in 2021, working on a change management/technology communications project for the company. That role led to a full time job with UMG to start off 2022 as the Senior Manager of Communications and Training for the Global Technology Group.
My love of writing, and drive to be a better writer, has given me the opportunity to do this blog for fun. I contributed to the travel blog, Pedacitos, and to Pelican Debrief, a fan blog about the New Orleans Pelicans.
