Day 22: Bowling with the boys
Spent the day with the nephews. They wanted to bowl, so I took them. I lost. To an 11 & 5 year old. Bowling isn’t my game.

Day 21: Pre-Thanksgiving bloodies
My friend, Kelly, came to visit on her cross country trip so I took her to the Erin Rose for a post-lunch bloody mary. Not a bad way to spend an hour.

Day 19: It may be old, but it’s new to me
Cleaning out to move South, I found a lot of things I forgot I had, including my very first Bama cap I bought when I got on campus and my Ray Bans I got for Christmas in the late 80s. So I decided to sport the new old things as I ran errands today.

Day 18: Precious family time
My aunt was released from the hospital early so I got to spend the day with her. We had a great day and I’m so glad she’s doing better.

Day 17: Breakfast for Dinner? Yes, please
Chef Rita, from Restaurant August, is our guest chef at tonight’s Dinner Lab event. Her food sounds amazing and looks even better. These are the perks of my job. This is as the chefs are putting the final touches on tonight’s menu.

Day 16: new pals and the Saints
Met Jamie tonight to talk business and decided to watch the Saints game together. Awesome time.

Day 15: Post Heroes debrief
The amazing Liz Belanger and I were able to grab a quick lunch today to debrief on Heroes. The conclusion? We rocked it under the most difficult circumstances. Liz is a great person and I am going to miss laughing with her over craziness.

Back in NY to help with CNN Heroes. Time for the red carpet to open and the show to begin.
