Day 82: Wine Tasting
Team DL hit Napa, specifically Oakville, to go wine tasting at Hoopes Vineyard. Private tour, drinks at the owner’s home and a class from the winemaker on how it works. Best way to spend a Sunday.

Day 80: What the heck is going on?
It snowed. …a little. And was really really cold today. Dislike. I moved to the south and expect warm. Or warmer than NY!

Day 79: I didn’t sign up for a political rally
Had a happy hour meeting at Cure. Apparently it was also the place for a fundraiser for Sen. Mary Landrieu. I sooooo tried to leave but the check didn’t come until after the speech.

Day 78: Work pals make a bleh day good
First day in NOLA I’ve felt a bit down, but fortunately it didn’t last long. Thanks to my work pal, Tricia!

Day 77: Mega Workout Break is over
Took a few weeks off the hard core workout regime due to injury, illness, holidays and travel. No more excuses. Time to trim is now.

Day 76: Happy Hour (s)
Early work day plus long walk home equals me at the pizza joint down the street drinking wine and eating a late lunch. Not too shabby of a Monday.

Day 75: Meeting up with Edie
After a day of working out, errands and cleaning, made it to the Quarter to meet up with Edie. Dinner at Mr. B’s then Pat O’s to meet her folks. Great time!

Day 74: It’s beginning to look a lot like Mardi Gras
Went shopping to get some decorations and now my apartment is starting to get into the spirit of Mardi Gras. Whoooo!

My cousin, Amanda, came down to surprise my aunt for a weekend visit. But I get the benefit of her visit too! So excited!
