Day 232: Not quite a routine
Being back in an office, I’m excited to get into a routine. Not there yet as the rain has dampened plans. But trying! !!

Day 231: New chapter
Started a new job today. Drinks afterwards to talk about strategy, the future and more led to a beautiful walk home with the office in the background.

Day 230: ID day
Practicing my look for my work id. Had to hit the new office to take care of paperwork and a tour. However, as a freelancer, I only get a generic id, so no smile necessary.

Day 229: Go USA!
Started the day off with a ladies brunch in honor of Jacque’s wedding. Then went home to change and get ready for the USA game. A crazy storm popped up, causing a delay in getting going, but I braved the rain and headed to Manning’s to watch. We tied, which was a disappointment, only due…

Day 228: You never know who’s in town
Soccer Saturday had me hopping to different bars to watch the 3 games on today. For the Germany/Ghana game, I went to Manning’s and ran into Chris, who is in town from NY for a bachelor party. Good times indeed.

Day 226: World Cup
Gorgeous day in New Orleans and I didn’t want to be inside. But I didn’t want to miss a world cup game, either. So set up the iPad by the pool, put the umbrella up and watched England play Uruguay. Not a bad idea, right?

Day 225: Interview time
Got back from the beach and had an interview early today. Back to the business attire.

Day 224: On a boat
Went out fishing again. Managed to catch nothing, but did see some dolphins, including a baby.

Day 223: Soccer
Went to dinner at the beach with the fam so watched the game on my iPad and the restaurant’s tv. But celebrated in style on the beach with my cousin.
