Wedding planning is is full swing
It’s happened. I’m now in the midst of full-on wedding planning. And it’s finally a tad bit fun. So here’s the rundown of what’s been going on: –I went to my 3rd dress shop on Saturday and to my surprise, my mom was there. I tried on 3 dresses and the 3rd was in the…

Wedding dress shopping is….
So many words to describe my first day wedding dress shopping. So here goes: Stressful: Going in with barely an idea of what dresses fit best he me stressing a tad. I’m not small but not a plus size either. So I was worried about fit and if I could find a flattering dress that…

Let the parties start!
Our first official party celebrating our engagement happened over the weekend. It was nice having a smaller group function and we enjoyed hanging out with everyone. A bonus was our awesome cake made by our friend, Tricia. And I’m looking forward to more celebrations and enjoying friend time.

Roll Tide!
What a season. Ups and downs, times I thought Bama wouldn’t win, times I thought it’d be close and everything in between. The 2015 football season as a Bama fan was awesome. A special shout out to The Rusty Nail. If you’re in NOLA during the fall, this is the place to be to watch…

41 is good
The first few days of being 41 are a far cry from the massive weekend of partying I did to usher in 40. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. A great dinner with my man on my birthday, an epic beat down of LSU by my Crimson Tide and a chill Sunday walking…

Biking the Big Easy
A week ago, I woke up ridiculously early for a Saturday and hopped on my bike to ride through New Orleans for an unusual tour of the city. For the first annual Bike the Big Easy, streets were closed and over 1400 people on bicycles trekked through the Quarter, CBD and down St. Charles in…

When the Saints come marching in..
One of the fun things to do in New Orleans is go to a Saints game. I’ve been fortunate to be able to go to quite a few since moving here and Sunday night’s game was one of the best. The Saints haven’t had the best of times the past few seasons, but the win…
