High above the clouds, ready to explore the world

Manifesting 2025 Travel

It’s a first. For the first time in a very long time, I don’t have any solid travel plans for the year. Sure, we have some possibilities hanging out there, but we don’t have anything booked solid.

So here’s where I’m going to do something different. I’m going to make a list of things I want to do and places I want to see in hopes that I can make at least a few of those happen this year.

I got a new camera for my birthday, and I want to try and take more photos on my travels. That is going to happen, no matter where we go this year. So even if it’s somewhere we’ve been before, I look forward to seeing it through a new lens, literally!

First on my list, I want to do at least 2 trips to Vegas. We didn’t get our normal pre-Christmas trip in, so I’d like to try and do that. Also, we are hoping to go in March to see the Eagles in concert at the Sphere. While there, I am really hoping we have an opportunity to try at least one new restaurant and/or bar that we haven’t gone to before.

Another goal for this year is to add a new passport stamp to my book. As much as we’d like to do Italy this year, with the Jubilee in Rome and other things going on personally, I think we have to make that happen in 2026. So we are going to pivot and try to find some other country to visit and adventure in.

We’ve discussed Berlin, since Chuck has some German heritage, as well as trying to spend a few days in London. But we are talking about some easier places to travel to from here as alternative options.

I know Chuck has some work trips coming up, and we want to try and head to San Juan and/or Kauai for a few days. I would love to visit wine country in Sonoma and Napa again to try out a few additional wineries.

Of course, no year is going to go by without a beach trip or two. As of now, we don’t have anything solid on the books but I know we will find a few days here and there to go to some beach, even if it’s a tag along on one of his work trips.

Obviously, this is a lot and there is no way we will be able to do it all. But I like goals and to have an idea of what we want to do gives us some fun things to talk about and options when looking at flights and hotels. Plus, I enjoy the planning process, so even if it doesn’t happen this year, I do have those notes to hold on to for the future!

So with that, it’s time to start planning and traveling.
