Yesterday, I was talking to Chuck about our 3 year anniversary on the 14th of January. After laughing about how fast these three years have been, we had a great conversation about our relationship and what our goals are for the next three.
While we’ll keep those between us, one of the things we both mentioned was how much fun we still have together. Let’s be honest, it’s not all laughs and smiles, but it mostly is. We challenge each other trying new experiences but also repeat our favorites as well.
We were talking about some highlights of our first three years of marriage and so many of them revolved around travel. From Vegas to Ft. Lauderdale, Key Largo to the Berkshires and New York to Atlanta, we’ve definitely hit some interesting spots along the way. We have places we are absolutely going to return to and others that we are likely to not go to again. Overall, our travel is just beginning and we now have a list of new places to check out.
Some other items we’ve enjoyed the past three years include trying new restaurants, going to support the local breweries and being a tourist in our own town. It’s opened our eyes to new experiences introduced us to some old favorites. But it also gives us time together. And that’s the most enjoyable thing about the past three years.
Here’s to another year of adventure, joy, love, laughter, and possibly a few tears. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
