I can’t believe it’s been two years since our wedding. It really was the most amazing night and we had a blast with all of our friends and family. The best part is looking at the photos and seeing how much fun everyone was having.
Chuck and I were feeling the effects of partying after the Saints win but we decided to keep our dinner tradition alive and go out. I got home from work to some champagne and candles and after we talked for a bit, got ready to go to dinner.
We decided to start a tradition of going to Tableau for dinner on our anniversary. Since this was the scene of the best night of our lives, it makes the most sense. We don’t get a chance to go there often and thought this was a perfect way to spend our anniversary evening.
The chill in the air made us laugh. We looked out at the courtyard where we had the ceremony and laughed at the numerous heaters that didn’t have to be used that day in 2017. Thank goodness for that! It was a chilly 41 degrees when we left the restaurant last night. In 2017, it was around 65. To say we lucked out is a massive understatement.
One of the best things of the evening was that we only were on our phones to show each other an app or a post we wanted to share. Oh, and to book our next trip to Vegas.
Now we are starting our 3rd year of marriage and having just as much fun as we did when we first started dating. I’m thankful for that!
