Taking on New Adventures

As I’ve mentioned, my job allows me to do some travel. And these past 4 days, I’ve had the opportunity to be in Indianapolis for a conference for meeting planners and suppliers. It’s my first time in Indy and it’s been such a great experience.

From the conference agenda to the opportunities given to us to see various parts of downtown, we’ve had great hosts in the city. The conference ended with a social gathering at the motor speedway, home of the Indy 500 and the Brickyard race in NASCAR. What a cool experience! And they gave us all a chance to take a leisurely 106 mph ride around the track. Total bucket list item for me!

I’ve been impressed with the cleanliness of the downtown area and the outdoor activities available. It really has been a cool experience here. And the agenda for the conference gave me a chance to learn some things about the business and make some excellent connections.
