Taking on New Adventures

Ever had a year where the best of the best happened alongside some pretty crappy things? Welcome to my 2017. I don’t think it’s a secret that starting off the year with our wedding was the happiest day of my life. And the first almost full year of marriage has been really good. But it’s also been a trying year, too. From work struggles to more surgeries to some unexpected disappointments that popped up at the most inconvenient of times, I’d be lying if I said everything this year was peachy keen. However, it’s been more good than bad. And Chuck and I have made the most of every single moment.

So peace out, 2017. While you were great in a lot of ways, I’m looking forward to what 2018 has to offer.
