Through all the trials and tribulations of wedding planning, and the fact that it wasn’t as much fun as I had been told, Chuck and I are finally married. Jan. 14, 2017 was an amazing day and one that we both will cherish and look back on with huge smiles on our faces for the rest of our lives. And although not everything went the way we planned, nothing went haywire and we had the best time.
From the ceremony that had some humor and advice to the amazing second line around Jackson Square to a reception with fantastic food (or so I’m told), great drinks (again, I only heard this) and non-stop dancing, the night was filled with love and laughter. It was exactly what we wanted.
So now begins our lives as a married couple. And while nothing is perfect, we have each other to lean on and lift up during thick and thin and I think that’s the best part of this whole marriage thing.
